3rd Lawsuit Filed in Oil Well Explosion

A third lawsuit was filed following a fatal oil well explosion in Illinois. The explosion killed two employees and injured four others. The well exploded as oil and gas poured out of the well head and burst into flames.

One man, Brad Cunningham, the Illinois Department of Natural Resources oil well inspector was badly burned in the explosion has is the plaintiff in this latest lawsuit.

The lawsuit is seeking $50,000 in damages. The complaint alleges that the owners and operators of the well were negligent in the management of the well.
